Role Purpose
Why this role matters: As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and optimizing container orchestration systems at scale. Your contributions will help shape cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and platform reliability, ultimately transforming how we deliver and operate applications.

- Design and implement a scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for production workloads.
- Automate deployment workflows and optimize resource utilization across clusters.
- Ensure high availability, security, and observability of containerized applications.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead the deployment and scaling of Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to enable cloud-native workflows.
- Manage container lifecycle and orchestration using Kubernetes, ensuring performance and resilience.
- Develop Helm charts and custom Kubernetes operators to streamline deployments.
- Optimize cluster resources and enforce security best practices in containerized environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines integrated with Kubernetes workflows.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor cluster health and application performance using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate infrastructure needs into scalable solutions.
Qualifications & Attributes
We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles, with 3+ years specifically in Kubernetes environments.
- Technical Skills:
- On-Premises Infrastructure: Experience deploying hybrid or on-prem Kubernetes clusters.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Proficiency in managing Kubernetes on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Networking: Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking, service meshes, and ingress controllers.
- Security: Expertise in RBAC, secrets management, and Kubernetes security compliance.
- Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Python, Golang, or Rust.
- Monitoring & Observability: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, or ELK stack.
Unique Attributes:
- Thrives in cloud-native environments that demand continuous improvement and high reliability.
- Possesses a proactive mindset and the ability to debug complex distributed systems.
- Excels with Kubernetes ecosystems, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration strategies.
Preferred Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
